Pearl and X

In 2021 we were approached to make various props for the production company A24 on the movies Pearl and X. They needed an axe (pictured in the poster), some gator eggs that Pearl crushes in her bare hands, a dead goose the local alligator feeds off, a bike, a wheelbarrow and whole roast pig! The pig needed to look believable with maggots and fleshy insides, and was then eaten by Pearl and her parents, for their last supper! The most challenging prop was the retractable pitchfork, which was named one of the seven great film and tv props that deserved its own credit in 2022 by backstagecast. Pearl and X were great local movies we loved working on!
